A exposição coletiva
OS QUATRO ELEMENTOS foi inaugurada no domingo, dia 17 de março na
Galeria SPIRIT LIGHTS, no espaço de artes cênicas LUNAMAR.
Esta galeria é uma iniciativa da Companhia de Dança SPIRIT LIGHT e estava lotada de convidados que vieram apreciar as obras de arte
expostas no mais novo espaço especialmente criado pela artista Elin Egoyan (que tanto aprecio e
respeito).
O tema "Os Quatro Elementos" há muito tempo já chama atenção de Elin, que
inclusive já pintou 4 telas em acrílico representando os elementos e ainda apresenta a instalação com o mesmo nome no Museu de Artes de
Sampa. No entanto, parece que o assunto não estava devidamente esgotado pois após
conhecer Klark e Caryl Meridith, ambos
da Companhia Spirit Light que já planejavam uma apresentação de dança sobre os
4 Elementos estava criada a ideia de uma exposição sobre o tema envolvendo todas formas de artes no Second
Life: pinturas, esculturas, poesias e claro....a dança.
Com este objetivo
Elin criou um espaço incrível e convidou todos os artistas do SL para
participar de uma exposição que estará aberta a visitação até o dia 29 de junho
de 2013.
São quatro pavilhões
decorados para cada Elemento, Fogo, Terra, Água e Ar, onde trabalhos de 23 artistas estão sendo apresentados. É muito interessante ver obras de
artistas muito conhecidos ao lado de novos artistas residentes do SL e nunca tiveram seus trabalhos expostos neste mundo virtual .
Também é especial e não muito frequentemente no SL, apresentar poesias ao lado de pinturas,
fractais e esculturas. Podemos então concluir que a arte em todas as suas
formas estão ligadas e apresentadas em cores, texturas e formas maravilhosas.
Os artistas que participam da coletiva são: Alesia Barbosa,
Asmita Duranjaya, Bella Larkspur, Caryl Meridith, Elin Egoyan, JudiLynn India,
Jullianna Juliesse, June Faramore, Karli Daviau, Kylie Angel, Luna Branwen,
Margaj, Mathilde Vhargon, Mik Frequency, Milly Sharple, Monroe Snook, Rosedrop
Rust, Sarafina Destiny, Simonetta Martella2, Treacle Darlandes, Tuatha Tread
Softly (rivereden), Ub Yifu e Una Milena.
É , sem dúvida alguma uma das melhores amostras das artes do
Second Life.

The
collective exhibit, THE FOUR ELEMENTS, was inaugurated on Sunday, March 17 at
the Spirit Light Galleries on the LunaMar Performing Arts sim.
This
gallery, an initiative of the Spirit Light Dance Company, was crowded with
guests who came to see the many artworks displayed in a beautiful, brand new
gallery created by artist Elin Egoyan (whom I greatly appreciate and respect).
The theme
"The Four Elements" has beckoned to Elin in the past. She also has 4 Reallife paintings in acrylic
representing the elements and an installation covering the same subject at
the Sampa Art Museum.
However, it seems that the issue was not properly
exhausted! When Elin met Klark Harvey
and Caryl Meridith, both members of the Spirit Light Dance Company who were
planning a dance performance around the theme of The Four Elements, the idea
was born to organize an arts exhibit with this same theme involving all forms
of arts in Second Life: paintings, sculptures, poetry and of course .... dance.
For that
purpose Elin created this breathtaking gallery and invited all the SL artists
to attend an exhibition that will be open to visitors until the 29th of June
2013.
There are 4
pavilions, each one dedicated to one of the elements, Fire, Earth, Water and
Air, where the works of 23 artists are displayed. It is wonderful to see the
artwork of very well known artists placed next to outstanding pieces by new
residents who have never exhibited in virtual worlds before.
Special and
not often seen in SL is that a lot of poems are also displayed next to the
paintings, fractals and sculptures. We can conclude that art in all its forms
are connected and presented in wonderful colors, textures and forms.
Without a
doubt it is one of the best Second Life
art shows ever!
