Um outro espaço importante da ilha SAMPA é a Galeria Cullum
Writer e nosso post desta semana estará apresentando esta fotógrafa de Second
Life em grande estilo.
Cullum é brasileira do sul do país. E como seu pai, tem
paixão pela fotografia. Era então de se esperar que aproveitasse a ferramenta disponibilizada para tirar fotos
no Second Life (SL) - o snapshot - para sair pelo metaverso perpetuando as
imagens que lhe encantava.
Assim que começou a mostrar seus trabalhos para os amigos,
rapidamente percebeu-se a sofisticação do olhar da fotógrafa que ao apresentar
publicamente seus trabalhos numa galeria virtual encantou imediatamente a todos.
A partir daí Cullum não parou mais de trabalhar com fotos;
inicialmente nem conhecia qualquer tipo de programa de desenho digital, mas sua
alma irrequieta fez com que fosse descobrindo gradualmente os encantamentos da
criação digital de imagens.
Hoje a Cucu (como carinhosamente a chamamos) apresenta
trabalhos visuais surpreendentes, na maioria das vezes a partir de snapshots do
SL e como não para de evoluir já apresenta trabalhos mais complexos utilizando
a técnica do "Morphing" - a mistura de imagens - onde o rosto do
avatar ganha um corpo de uma fotografia da vida real e também alguns de seus trabalhos apresentam scripts
dando assim algum tipo de movimentação às imagens.

island is the Cullum Writer Gallery and
our post this week will be presenting this Second Life photographer in great style.
Cullum is Brazilian from the south of the country. Like her father, has a passion for photography. It was then expected that seize the tool available for taking pictures in Second Life (SL) - the snapshot - she explored the metaverse, perpetuating images that enchanted her.
As soon as she began to share her work with friends, they quickly noticed her sophisticated photographer`s eyes and displaying those works on a public virtual gallery immediately enchanted residents of the virtual world.
From then Cullum never stopped working with photos; initially did not know any digital drawing program, but her restless soul made her gradually discovers the enchantments of creating digital images.
Today, Cucu (as fondly call her) has amazing visual works, mostly from the SL snapshots and as she never stops improving we can see more complex features works by using the technique of "Morphing" - a mix of images - where the avatar`s face gets body from a real life picture and also some of her works have scripts thus some type of movement to images.
